For 4 days, we were recording the Michel Meis 4tet debut album at the CCR opderschmelz.

Thank you Alisa, Cédric and Stephan for your musicianship and inspiration. Thank you Danielle and your team for giving us the opportunity of an artist residency at the CCR opderschmelz. And thank you Ken and Oliver for making this album come to live. I’m blessed having the possibility of working with such amazing people.

Michel Meis 4tet – News

After a great start of the 4tet at the Wine Note Jazz Club in Thionville (FR) and the Hochschule für Musik in Saarbrücken (DE), where we recorded a few videos, I'm very proud to announce that we have a few shows coming up:

  • 22 Sep / Odessa Jazz Fest (UA)

  • 23 Sep / Vinnytsia Jazz Fest (UA)

  • 13 Oct / Rotationen Saarbrücken (DE)

  • 18 Oct / Nancy Jazz Pulsations (FR)

  • 25 Nov / Ploiesti Jazz Festival (RO)

  • 21 Dec / Brunnenhof Trier (DE)

  • 29 Dec / Aalt Stadhaus Differdange (LU)

Unfortunately, Kaori decided, for personal reasons, to quit music. We are more than sad to lose this amazing pianist and wish her all the best for her future. She will be replaced by the equally amazing Cédric Hanriot.
